What do we do for conservation?

Catch and release as far as possible, keep what you will consume. Try not to over-fish the limited number of fish there are available for fishing. Respect the fragile environment.

Pollution prevention is a major factor in conservation, so do not pollute our fishing grounds. The list below gives you an idea of how long it takes for trash to decompose.

Decomposition of Materials
(marine conservation society)
Orange peel and banana peel up to 2 years
Cigarette butt 1 to 5 years
Plastic bags 10 to 20 years
Nylon fabric 30 to 40 years
Aluminum cans 80 to 100 years
Plastic bottles indefinitely

Many a time we find ourselves playing our part for the environment on our fishing adventures.
